Subject: Do you think SRK is hand in gloves with Shiv Sena to promote his movie?
My Name Is Khan has released successfully and making good business despite "weak" pre-release reviews. Shiv Sena is getting massive media coverage for the first time in months, Uddhav Thackeray is obviously happier about shadowing cousin Raj Thakeray(party leader MNS). With both the "enemies" getting mutually benefitted it is not very hard to imagine that the much-hyped controversy may be a plot knit jointly by MNIK team and Shiv Sena.
Sena managed to skim the pro-indian anti-muslim sentiments of orthodox section of marathi youth whereas MNIK happily played the "victim" part and hogged all the public sympathy.
Media - both print and electronic - had a great time covering all the "tamasha" pumping their TRP and re-enforcing the idea of controversy as a potential marketing strategy.
